Shao is a very talented music teacher and patience to students. My daughter is a very picky kind of person. She changed so many music teachers until we met Shao. Shao is very responsive and accommodative which are really met our needs. The music recital was great and I was impressed to see how good all his students were in performing. I can see his passionate in teaching and all of his students like stars on the stage! Good job to Shao and all his students!

My son and I started learning with Shao since about four months ago. Shao is very passionate and knowledgeable in violin teaching. He observes my son’s interest and adapts his teaching in a way that can engage my son more. That is very helpful for young children. My daughter started learning violin with Mr. Shao four months ago. I was very surprised with her progress! Mr. Shao was passionate and funny. The class was never boring. He also pick the music pieces just right, which gave my daughter enough challenge and boost she motivation.

Mr. Shao is an excellent violin teacher who has greatly inspired my 7 year old son to learn the violin. My son originally didn't want to learn violin, but only a little after half a year now, he often picks up his violin several times a day not only to do his homework but also to try playing compositions that he loves. Mr. Shao focuses on teaching kids techniques and gives them practical exercises to improve their technical skills. At the same time, most importantly, he encourages them to express themselves musically and to challenge themselves. 5 months in my son decided he wanted to learn Canon in D and instead of discouraging him, Mr. Shao has been patiently teaching and encouraging him to play the piece. It can be really hard to make boys sit still and keep their attention, but Mr. Shao can do it and it is a testament to his years of experience teaching kids. I would highly recommend him as a violin teacher!

I think Shao is one of the best violin teacher I have ever had. He has an exquisite taste in music and pays very close attention to details. You can feel the passion and patience in him while he is teaching. He is also very nice and friendly. Very flexible in the schedule. Highly recommended violin teacher!

Shaoqing is an excellent violin teacher. Our daughter started with Shaoqing when she was 5.5 years old, and she’s now almost 11. He teaches in the traditional style (as opposed to Suzuki). When my daughter started, she didn’t know how to read any music, and now she’s playing Bach’s Concerto in A minor. He is very good with children and knows how to provide the right amount of challenge for improvement. He is also very good at teaching both technical skills and musicality. I highly recommend him, without any reservation.
